Pirelli

Founded in 1872, Pirelli has a presence on four continents with 23 industrial sites and operates through a capillary sales network in over 160 countries.

In line with the strategy of focusing on premium quality and “Green Performance”, Pirelli, which has always invested in research and development, strives constantly for higher quality, better technology and lower environmental impact.

The goal is to achieve better mileage and higher efficiency from fuel consumption by improving resistance to rolling and increasing eco-compatible elements in general. The renewable materials used and their durability is reflected by length of the tyre’s “first life” as well as by the number of reconstructions that can be achieved on the same carcass.

The real innovation in the range began in 2009 with the introduction of the first Series 01 line on “Regional” (FR:01 and TR:01) and “Trailer” (ST:01) segments.

Then, in 2011, it was enhanced with three new lines designed respectively for use in critical winter conditions W:01 (winter), long distance haulage H:01 (highway) and construction vehicles G:01 (gravel, on/off) for a total of six new treads available in an astonishing 22 different sizes.

The Series:01 products also bear the ECOIMPACT logo. Developed with new profiles, structures and materials to meet the needs of professional operators, they are at the very top of the European market in terms of high mileage, low rolling resistance (and hence high fuel economy) and respect for the environment, thanks to their low noise and the highly aromatic oil free (HAOF) materials.
